Intermittent Search Issues + Algorithm Prioritization

For some reason search doesn't seem to work sometimes. Usually the first search I make when loading up the site will end up showing results for a partial query. Maybe a delay needs to be made for when the query goes through to return results so that they're not interfering with each other. I just searched The Hawk like another user had an issue finding and at first it didn't show up. Then I deleted the k at the end of the query and re-added it and it worked. Can't seem to reproduce this issue when the page is already open. Seems to only work for the first search of the session based on facing the issue in the past.

Example of the first search seemingly only showing the results of “Fro”. It seems like each letter sends a new query but the frontend can’t keep up with the responses and gets confused on which one to respond with.
