Plex scrobbled Watched items still showing on Next Episodes

This happens intermittently - a show watched mostly straight through on Plex (pause/skip back, not stopped/closed and finished days later) is tracking as watched (correct date/time), but is still appearing on the Next Episodes list (page refresh does not clear it).
