Plex webhook receives watched events but does not apply them

This is a follow-up to the issue I previously reported here.

The behavior has changed again, and I now have more information.

Yesterday, I started watching Season 1 of Dr. Romantic and watched episodes 1 through 6. Episodes 1, 2, and 3 were marked as watched correctly, but episodes 4, 5, and 6 were never added as watched.

The Plex webhook activity shows that WeTrakr did receive the events for those missing episodes. I can see the playing, watched, and media stop events, including the watched event for episode 6 around 9 hours ago. However, none of those episodes are marked as watched anywhere in WeTrakr, even when I open the individual episode pages.

So this does not seem to be a Plex scrobbling issue. Plex is sending the events, and WeTrakr appears to receive them, but some watched events are not being processed or applied.

This is also different from the original delayed-update issue. Previously, the watch date could appear on the episode page while the watched history and counters were delayed. In this case, the missing episodes are not marked as watched at all.

Earlier yesterday, I finished The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, and every episode was processed immediately and correctly. I almost thought the issue had been fixed, but a few hours later only the first 3 out of 6 Dr. Romantic episodes were processed.

I’ve attached screenshots showing:

• the webhook activity with the watched events;

• the episodes that were actually watched;

• the missing watched status in WeTrakr;

• the difference with my Trakt history.

I have not marked the missing episodes manually, so the current state is still available for investigation.
