Anime as a Separate Media Type (With Dedicated Lists)

In current state we have 2 types Movies and Shows leaving Anime scattered across both forcing users to switch back and forth.

It’d be a huge quality-of-life improvement to have Anime be categorized as a separate type (Like Simkl) with it’s own watchlist, history, favorites, and recommendations (in future). This will make managing anime much easier.

Key Considerations:

• Grouping: Unlike Simkl, which splits anime into separate entries per season, keep all seasons grouped under a single title entry (similar to Trakt or TMDB) to avoid clutter.

• API Integration: Ensure future API endpoints reflect this architecture by returning Movies, Shows, and Anime watchlist/history/favorites separately.

• Optional: Include an option to "Hide Anime as a separate category" for casual viewers who prefer keeping all animated movies and shows merged into the standard Movies and Shows sections.
