It won't let me update the description. So here's why I think it's important to add it.
Currently, there's automatic synchronization, but no option to import your history just once, securely and easily. I find this option practical because many people are switching from Netflix to other services, such as Nuvio or Stremio, so they want their viewing history up to that point—not the option to continue tracking it on that service.
