I love WeTrakr, and have the Kodi and Jellyfin plugins installed, but my favourite Kodi addon can’t add WeTrakr support because you haven’t published the API yet. I’d rather see the API released than new features.
Looks like it might be too late for me to stay with WeTrakr. I forwarded your update to the developer of my favourite and immensely popular Kodi addon, who is also a Reddit mod for the Kodi addon community. I asked them about WeTrakr integration a couple of months ago and they told me they would contact you for an API timeline. At that time they had already recently added support for Simkl, MDBList, Floppy, and Scrob. Since then they also added PunchPlay.
I got a response this morning to sending them your latest update and API commitment saying they likely won’t bother adding WeTrakr now since they don’t see a need to add yet another service and in their words you “really missed the bus on this”. Apparently you also ignored their github inquiry for over a month and that left a sour taste.
Much as I love WeTrakr, if they make a final decision not to bother with WeTrakr I will have to migrate to something else. Just FYI.

Hey, thanks for letting me know, I really appreciate you taking the time!
I haven't got any GitHub notification about it, or it may have slipped through with the amount of questions and requests I was getting at that time. Either way, I'm sorry it went unanswered.
Honestly, I don't feel we "missed the bus" on this one, since as far as I remember I wasn't the one asking for the integration. That said, the door is wide open for that addon, and my help is too, if they ever want to integrate WeTrakr. If you tell me which addon it is, I can reach out myself and propose the integration as soon as I ship the first private version for a small group.
Thanks again for reaching out and for bothering to tell me, I had no idea about any of this. I just hope you can stick around, because after the API there are some big things coming ;)
