Rich Anime Metadata Support
It would be great if WeTrakr added support for anime metadata sources such as Kitsu, MyAnimeList, AniList, and AniDB. This would provide much richer and more accurate anime metadata, including titles, artwork, episode information, studios, characters, genres, ratings, and other anime-specific details that general movie/TV databases often lack.
Adding support for these sources would make WeTrakr a much better experience for anime fans and bring its anime metadata quality closer to its movie and TV show support.

I joined anidb in 2005 and it’s still my goto for ratings and reviews. I know it’s a difficult ask to map these sites, but this project appears to be active and is supposed to do just that.

Maybe starting small to pull ratings only from some or all supported sites would be a good test to see if it holds up? Then expand if it does? The list of supported sites is impressive.

Kitsu/MAL/AniDB/AL all split seasons into separate entries while WeTrakr uses TMDB which groups all seasons into one entry, Mapping Kitsu to TMDB would be very tedious and and cause grouping conflicts.

PS.: Currently WeTrakr does support ratings from MyAnimeList, AniList and Crunchyroll

It seems that it only rates the first ”season” of a show which is better than nothing, but it would be nice if he could use that mapping list to add the remaining seasons as well.
Either way, I really wish we had AniDB as a rating source as I still use that to determine if I’ll watch a show or not. I find the ratings there more inline with my preferences than MAL, though I like AniList for Donghua.
Thinking of making an idea just for AniDB ratings.
