Basic Markdown support would be ideal. It's the unofficial standard across places like GitHub, reddit, etc.—and the Purple Empire of TV tracking (Trakt).
Markdown is also (maybe arguably) easier to write than rich text with a toolbar and buttons. (Not that you can't also have the toolbar. GitHub does.)
