Show Dimmed Boxes for Filtered Content

When searching for a film that is filtered (e.g. for having “adult content”), one of the options could be to show that a movie is in fact being filtered by having a “dimmed box” (maybe with year but no title?) that is not appearing.

An example is the movie “9 Songs” (2004) which was not appearing for me in Michael Winterbottom’s filmography until I turned the fitler for adult content off, which was surprising to me, since I’d alreadt watched/rated the movie on Trakt and it was part of the import. I couldn’t find it via search, director filmography, actor filmography, etc.

So what you could show is just a dimmed box with the year and possibly a mouse over that shows this film has been filtered due to your current preferences or something of that nature.

Note: This could itself be an option, because a user might not want to see these films even as “dimmed boxes” in search and rather just see nothing, so my suggestion would be to make this a new option (checked by default) as no adult content is checked by default. Or if you don’t want it checked bty default, could at least make sure that it is checked assuming user as imported films from another service that fall into that category.
