Improvements for Movie releases notifications
This movie released on theaters today in US, but the text says "digitally", which is not true, since there's no digital release date yet the description should specify that this is the US release date, since this movie doesn't have a theatrical release date in my country as of today Taking in consideration this other idea: https://feedback.wetrakr.com/p/add-releases-tab-in-movies-page, it should also notify once the movie is available on the country selected by the user, unless it is the same date as the original release date
Remove notifications on selected shows
I have a bunch of wrestling shows on lists that are on every week, so there will be constant notifications. A few I don’t even watch regularly anymore. I like them in the calendar but don’t really need the notifications. My idea is to let users “unfollow” shows that they don’t need notifications for. All shows could be turned on by default but would be great to choose some that are not needed.
List of Series' episodes in watched
Currently it just shows the raw list of episodes when you visit the list of media you have watched, all of those episodes having the same thumbnail (consider HunterxHunter for example). I recommend grouping them together while viewing for a better UX.
Visual bug: Item disappears from watch history when adding another play
I was exploring a particular section of my watched history tonight, noting that some movies with 1 play needed extra history entries. Since I know I’ve watched them multiple times, but not when, I am using “Unknown” watch date for this. After adding an extra “Unknown date” play, I noticed that the history item disappeared from the page. It came back after refreshing, so it’s just a visual bug, but it’s disconcerting nonetheless. Click the “✓ 1” indicator on a movie Choose to “Mark as watched again” Click “Unknown date” My preferences say to prompt for a rating, and the site does so. But behind that dialog, the movie is now gone from the page until it’s reloaded.
Wrong air time
In the uk, , some shows are displaying wrong air time celebrity traitors uk airs at 8pm but showing as 9pm (tvdb is updated to 8pm) The rest is football showing airtime of 8am rather than 10pm (tvdb is updated to 10pm) Can you take a look thanks
Ability to Hide Titles in a List
Similar to being able to ‘fade’ some titles, it would be great if we could add shows/movies to a list but then be able to ‘hide’ those titles - it would reduce the amount of titles when browsing for new things to watch if I can’t see the titles I already know I’m not interested in.
Notifications by Country
Hi, I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before. I haven’t really been able to keep up with the site’s news lately… I saw that we have notifications now, which is a great idea! But would it be possible to have the country selected in the settings taken into account? I’m from France, and there’s quite a big time difference between releases in the U.S. and here 😅 I totally understand if this is complicated to implement, but I’m asking just in case. In any case, the site is getting better and better—really, kudos for all the hard work!
Next To Watch Episode Order
Other services like Trakt by default on your “Up Next” list show what episode to watch next based on the last episode you watched. So if you last watched Season 26 Episode 5, it would show the next to watch episode as Season 26 Episode 6 even if you haven’t watched any episodes of prior seasons. WeTrakr currently always shows the earliest episode of a show you haven’t watched or ignored meaning I have to constantly click into a full show, scroll over like 10 times to get to the season I want, click into it, and then scroll all the way down the page just to mark the next episode in order from the last one I watched as watched It does make sense for some people to always show the earliest but I would much prefer behavior like Trakt’s as an option.
Enlarge the poster if you click on it
Like the title says. It would be a nice feature if the poster would enlarge if you click on it.
Notifications on hover
Instead of having to click to go to the notifications page, we should be able to just hover on it like the rest of the menu. Probably just show the last three or five notifications and a button to mark all as read (or just mark them as read after opening the drop down). It would save an extra click to clear it.
Group Watch Syncing
A feature to allow copying your friend/followers tracking because of group watch could be automated or manual
Dropped/On Hold shows not faded in "discover" tab of calendar
When I am on the “discover” tab of my calendar, shows marked as Dropped or On Hold are not faded, even when “dropped” and “on hold” is checked in the “Fade items by state” settings. they do fade when the red x is set on an option though, so “fade everything except watched” fades both dropped and on hold as well as everything else (except watched). So it works as intended then.
Add a "Pending Content Removals" section for user-tracked items
On top of just doing email notifications for content removals I think it would be very helpful to have a dedicated section on the site showing content that the user has interacted with (e.g., tracked statuses, ratings, reviews, or list entries) that is scheduled for removal soon. Reasoning on why it’d be a good idea: Notification Backup: Users who don't check their emails regularly might miss removal warnings or read them too late. Proactive Corrections: Having a central dashboard view lets users easily review affected entries and remap or correct their watch history/lists to updated content beforehand.
